Climate data

Climate data refers to temporally structured collection of data (quantitative or qualitative) about the Earth’s climate system (atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere).

Note: It encompasses observational records (e.g., temperature, precipitation, ocean and ice conditions measured via instruments, remote sensing, or in situ platforms), model outputs (e.g., simulations, reanalysis datasets, and future projections), and proxy data (e.g., tree rings, ice cores) that reconstruct historical climate conditions.
