The knowledge value chain describes the dynamic, non-linear process through which diverse forms of knowledge—scientific, technical, experiential, local, and policy—are mobilised, integrated, and transformed into usable information and action.


Note: Driven by user needs and decision contexts, it involves generation, translation, co-production, and delivery across multiple actors. Iterative feedback loops enable learning and adaptation, ensuring relevance, legitimacy, and usability across contexts.
